Estimated Electric Bill

I have received electricity bill which is estimated and been advised by the management company of my Flat that we don't need access unless bill query but my provider keeps requesting readings which I have advised normally is taken by a meter reader so how can I get Npower to sent a meter reader?

I guess your flat is in a block where all the meters are housed together in a Service Room, to which only the caretaker has access

Paynig estimated bills is an absolute NO NO with only 2 possible outcomes:
You build up a large Credit or you build up a large debt

I'm afraid it's all too common that Estate managers adopt this " Locked Meter Room" policy and with yours, it seems that even official meter readers can't get access

You must understand that it is you paying the bills, and furthermore you have a duty to check the bills that are issued to you
WRITE to the estate managers demading access to the meter room on a weekly basis - a caretaker telling you what your meter reading is, isn't good enough

Also common in blocks of flats, are meters that have been assigned to the wrong flat, but without meter room access you cannot check that the meter No.on your bill actually matches that on the meter that has your flat No on it, nor can you run simple load tests to positively prove it supplies your flat

It's likely all your neighbors have the same problem and it would be worth talking to them to to mount a joint complaint
