Hi All
Friends laptop is proving a problem, so assistance greatly appreciated!
the actual internet pages when (Firefox) viewed is2cm lower than actual screen size, so the screensaver from starting is showing in the space above web pages. If this makes sense.
Also we dont have Google as our default, instead it's Conduit, then Babylon appears, plus lots adverts to e bay 7 other places, when we go to look for just about anything.
So please let us know hpw to fix this!!!
Thanks in advance

Download and run AdwCleaner0

Here we go:
Easy one first - Firefox not taking up full screen- click and drag the corners or edges of the firefox window to fill the screen or
- Right click on the toolbar at the top of the firefox window and select Maximise or
- Click the middle of the three buttons at the top of the firefox window
Remove Babylon look here the second link should work
Finally tell your friend to be careful and uncheck boxes that want to install search bars when installing software.

Hey vansboy
Try this, it should work:
Remove Toolbar
1. Open Mozilla Firefox. Go to Tools → Add-ons
2. Select Extensions. Uninstall/Disable the extension Babylon 1.1.9 to remove Babylon Toolbar. Restart Firefox.
Remove Search Provider
1. Open Mozilla Firefox. Click in the search bar (the small bar by the right of the address bar) and press the F4 key on the keyboard. Select Manage Search Engines... from the list.
2. Select Search the web (Babylon) and click Remove button. Click OK to save the changes. Restart Firefox.
Remove Search from New Tab
3. In case you open a new tab in Firefox, and Babylon Search still appears, please do the following:
4. Type in the address bar line about:config and press enter.
5. Confirm the message.
6. Type Babylon in the search bar.
7. Right-click the entries and click Reset.
