Thanks for all the posts on here - I am becoming addicted to snap and save!

I had my first double sided sainsburys receipt yesterday. I have emailed a copy to TCB shops and save. Is this all I need to do? it hasn't appeared in my account yet.

I also hope they aren't going to start ending items early with no warning. This is a reminder of Mr T DtD when it started getting popular they changed the t&c then stopped it completely:(

You can also uploaded an image of a double sided receipt thought the website and it shows up more quickly

How? I tried to upload two receipts, one after the other and it didn't work. In the end I scanned both sides, printed them stuck them together and then uploaded. A lot of effort for 40p.

You can combine images with with paint .

    It's a bit fiddly but do-able.

If you don't want the cash back then don't do it, it's not the fault of TCB if Sainsbury's issue double sided receipts and if TCB accepted multiple receipts per offer imagine the abuse, which would probably end up with them closing the scheme.

Felt like I was in supermarket sweep today while in Sainsburys :rotfl:

Bought the wrong milk and they didn't stock the chips which was a shame, but I just submitted for soup, pizza and cream eggs.

Can't wait to see what the next offers are, should be going to Asda monday.

I bought & submitted the Jaffa cakes after 12, but it has still paid out. So it's still worth submitting that receipt!

I went to Tescos today and you can tell that people are buying these items as there were no Fish Fingers 12 pack left or some variety of Mcain chips! I did get the pizza, milk, McCain home oven chips bread, jam and cadbury creme eggs and have uploaded these.

I have uploaded these straight away just in case they close any of the offers early!

I emailed the receipt to snapandsave@topcashback.co.uk and it came up on the statement.

I have just posted this over on the Grabbit thread but thought it might help a few here :

I have just been to Sainsbury's and had my first double sided receipt. I was there on Wednesday so looks like they have just started doing this today or yesterday.

For those wondering how to combine both sides into one photo, it is so easy to do.

    • Take a photo of each side.
    • Open the first photo in Paint (it will probably be oversized so follow the next step to resize.)
    • Click image then resize/skew. A box will appear to resize the image. Under resize, enter '50' % in both horizontal and vertical. If the image is still too big repeat this step but this time enter 25%
    • Click 'edit' then 'select all'
    • Click 'edit' then 'copy'
    • Open up a new Paint document and click edit 'paste.
Now follow these steps again for other side of the receipt and paste the resized image into the same document where the (front of receipt) smaller image is and drag it down so you can view both photos in one document. Click save.

Now open in Windows Gallery and crop the photo so it can be viewed easily.

    HTH :)

Having just looked at a couple of posts on the combined grabbit thread I am glad this got moved over here. I didn't need recognition for posting about Snap & Scan and frankly after reading the goings on of some I am mortified that there is abuse of this great app occurring already.
There is a huge difference between a bargain and a long term money saver and a five minute bargain.
That has nothing to do with where this was posted or who by but it does seem to be a bit more sedate here. :)
At the moment I am having a problem with TCB but I am giving them the opportunity to rectify it rather than post about it at this stage. I hope they do and restore my faith but who knows. Perhaps the early ending offers and other problems are starting as a result of abuse.

Vicx puts a lot of work into this thread and I know we all appreciate it as does everyone who see's a bargain and posts.

(LOL although I might be spitting venom in a few days lol if they don't rectify the problem :D - actually I wouldn't but I would air the grievance for others to learn from)

Long may TCB Snap & Save remain

Jazzyj ; on a scale of 1 - 10 just how excited are you to see what new offers appear on Monday :)

I had a little problem with TCB regarding the £1 cashback for Fish Fingers being declined. It was resolved very quickly and from my understanding it was a computer error which caused the problem, not people submitting incorrect receipts for items as mentioned on the combined thread.

As I mentioned in this thread recently, TCB have not paid me for a genuine referral but after bringing this to their attention and being accused of having a duplicate account it has all been resolved. I can imagine many people referring none existant friends/family members to try and claim an extra referral bonus and this is probably why the genuine referrals are not going though. I think TCB should only pay out the referral bonus if the new referral can provide some sort of ID to make sure the referral system is not being abused.
