As an IFA myself I can say that - as with many other life assurance providers, in the main they tend to be very good (their eSelect online application for us intermediaries means it can be very very straight forwards). But now and again it can be a bit of a pain if something isn't right (I think they farm calls out to India).
In terms of their actual life policies, as long as everything is disclosed at the beginning when you apply then there should be no problems, also remember to check with your IFA about putting the policy in trust - as a rule this speeds things up should a claim be made and can have other advantages too.
Hope this helps !
