Mbna ppi claim

I made a claim for my ppi which started in 2000. They refused my first claim and I took it to the financial ombudsman. The financial ombudsman recommended upholding my claim. MBNA have now requested more information from the financial ombudsman. What does this mean and what are my chances? The financial ombudsman upheld it as they feel I wasn't advised about the policy properly which was right. Is this normal behaviour for mbna? Thanks
