Filed SA return, when will refund be sent?

TBF to HMRC, they've been spot on with the ones we've submitted around deadline day and have issued most of them already.

OP if you log into your online Self-Assessment account you should see an up to date balance. This should show if there are any refunds 'pending' on your account.

Ha, I was assigned the refund a week after filing but as per the last post you have to log on to the Hmrc site to actually request the refund. I have now done this so hopefully the re-payment should be paid into my bank account shortly. Thanks for all the advice.

Ah, you should be able to claim a refund in the return. If you do that it'll normally be issued automatically. There are times when this won't happen - most common being security checks.

If the repayment isn't claimed in the return, it can still be requested online after the event.

OP - keep an eye in the online account. In the normal course of events I'd expect your statement to change within 4 - 5 working days.
