ice is forming on a pipe outside and making the biler have breathing difficulties. go outside with a kettle and defrost the pipes especially the one that looks like an overflow pipe.
get the man out to sort the outside pipes so that they drain away with a proper 'fall' rather than have any curves in them.

    Arrrrr bless her
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.
  • Hi
Did you manage to resolve your problem of loss of pressure on your boiler or is it still occuring? I have the same problem. I have read lots of forums concerning loss of pressure on these boilers and lots of advice on what needs replacing. Many people have replaced items but still suffered loss of pressure. Further comments then suggest leaking radiators or under floor/underground pipes, though I cannot believe that all these people who have been unable to sort this problem has leaky underground pipes!
    Any further views?
