Hi everyone,
I want to buy a Camcorder but not sure which one to buy - DV or HDD. Can anyone explain the difference or suggest any website explaining? I don't wish to spend a lot of money.
Any help appreciated.
Thanx.

Have a look at AVForums. Loads of advice from real people, and if you sign up you can always ask your own specific questions, of course.0

I personally would buy a MiniDV format. Tapes are cheap and easy to archive. You may argue that any tape format nowadays is pretty old technology, but I still find that I can fill a tape, transfer via firewire, to pc to edit, but keep the tape with raw footage. I guess it's like having negatives in the old 'film' format....remember that!??? They're always there 'just in case'."...IT'S FRUITY!"0
