Apologise if this isn't the right board, but I made a banana smoothie in a smoothie maker, and forgot to immediatly clean it. Now the jug (glass) and base (plastic) are glued together, and no amount of soaking seems to be helping. Any ideas?

Maybe something like soaking in vinegar solution?
Or something with an active ingredient like a descaler tablet or solution (not sure this is safe for a smoothie maker so check manufacturer instructions !)0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Have you tried putting hot water in the jug - i've no idea if it would work but might soften the 'glue' between the jug and blender. It might be worth a try!0

Sometimes, if the jug and base stick I put it back on the mixer base again and use that to help me turn it, then it comes apart easily enough. Does that make sense? It's one of those easy to show, hard to describe things.0

Thanks for the help folks. Slightly delayed reply, but in the end soaking it in very hot water with half a dish washing tab dissolved in it did the trick.0
