I cant give an exact quote but British Gas are v expensive they quoted me £3500 just to fit a new boiler!!
I would ask around friends, family or neighbours if they know of any plumbers and who they would recommend, get them round to give a quote and go from there.

Says it all. If they can't turn up for a quote what happens when they start the install?
I had a full replacement system last year, New boiler (moved location) 7 replacement rads (1 new, 2 in new locations) all for £4000 from B.Gas. Local companies were quoting similar amount for same work but wanted 4 days to install, B.Gas did it in 2. Can't fault the work. No quibbles when they discovered the quote hadn't included all I wanted, i.e. TRV's, pipework tidied up where new rads were smaller than old. They just did the extra work for the original price.
Considering the amount of "cattle movement operatives" out there I would be wary of using anyone someone hadn't recommended to me.Titch
