Why do i get the e-mails off money tips so late?!

anyone out there any idea why my e-mails off Martin's Money Tips don't get e-mailed to me until AFTER some of the deals have expired. Been a member for a lot of years and it's only the last year or so they've been coming so late...was cross this week as missed the Kindle deal on Amazon!

No idea which deal you're on about but if it was a limited deal then it may have been used up before the email was sent.

The email is previewed every week on the Facebook page & as more and more people get to see it some deals expire a lot quicker.

The distribution list is so big now that it can take some time for the email to reach everyone. Sometimes mine arrives early sometimes late - which would indicate that the distribution is random rather than starting with No 1 on the list and working through from start to finish.

Its good to receive it but just as I am proactive in my moneysaving activities - I am proactive with the email. Every Wednesday morning I know its coming so I log on with my early morning coffee and check it direct from the Forum Web Page. Occasionally I will check it on Facebook when I see it in draft form.

Later this year I will have been getting the email for 10 years - and way back then there were loads of opportunities for me - today I see the occasional opportunity - because of two things
    1. I have learned so much from the whole site and am a very savvy money saver
    2. I learned from Martin's mantra - Do I need it? And I buy less today and save more of my money.

  • Have also been on MSE a long time and my money tips email comes through at a variety of times these days - so many to be sent out now. However, as irishjohn says, I just automatically click on the site Weds morning and have a quick flick through before leaving for work. Having been MSE for such a long time now though, am pretty much up to speed on basics and know what is a need or a want.

Didn't realise was a facebook page! I am not being critical of the site, just wondered why lately my e-mails tended to be late. Martins Money Tips is an amazing site and I have recommended a lot of people to it and have saved a lot of money by using it. I am and always have been pretty money savvy but it's always nice to get a bargain...IF I was thinking about getting it anyway. (my eldest still hasn't realised it's not a bargain if it tempts you to spend money otherwise kept in your pocket..!) Will have a look on facebook....
