My kids are going to be on a BBC programme, and I would like to have a copy of it to watch in the future. It will be on BBC Iplayer for a while, and I can download this, but it will auto delete after a while, and will not be on Iplayer indefinately.
Can anyone recomend a way I can record/download it and keep it?
Thanks

Do a screen recording and burn to disc using this 30 day trial.

I've used Aimersoft DRM Media Converter - It works well (although conversion is not quick - it's effectively plays and records). Don't know what functionality the Free Trial provides but I suggest it could be worth a tryNever let it get you down... unless it really is as bad as it seems.0

How technology marches on... 15 years ago nearly everyone had a VHS Video recorder that would have let you do this easily and noone would have thought twice about using it.
Admittedly, 15 years on you'd now have trouble in playing it.0 -
If it's going to be broadcast ... Does no-one in your family, or social group possess a DVD recorder, or other form of off-air broadcast recorder ...?0

Use your generic TV recorder ( Sky+,Tivo,Freeview+,YouView)when its broadcast, it will then be there until you erase it.
Then copy it to a DVD at your leisure, if you can find someone with a DVD recorder. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Apparently with get iPlayer you can keep recordings

Use a program called get_iplayer.
http://linuxcentre.net/getiplayer you can download it, it runs on windows ,linux and mac. If I miss a program on BBC I just use it and watch it at a later date and it doesnt run out timewise.
I dont know if it runs on windows 7, I use xp
Ive just tried getting it but the site seems to be down for maintenance hopefully it will be back up and running soon0
