Afternoon
Another successful week for us at sticking to the meal plan and keeping under budget on grocery spend.
Plan for this week starting Saturday is
Saturday - Chicken Curry, Rice and Naan Bread
Sunday - Steak (OH) Pork Loin (DD and Me), Rosti Potatoes, Veg and Pepper Sauce
Monday - Ribs with spicy rice and salad
Tuesday - Herb Pancakes filled with Savoury mince topped with cheese and baked, Pancakes with Fruit, chocolate spread or lemon and sugar for pud. Pancakes are very popular in our house and DD will eat her own bodyweight if allowed so can see me spending a lot of time in the kitchen on Tuesday night.
Wednesday - Grilled Tuna Steak, Veg noodles and salad (possibly Salmon for DD)
Thursday - Chicken and Bacon Pasta Bake
Friday - Mexican Chicken (one of those cook in the bag mixes)with vegetable rice
Breakfasts will be fruit, cereal bars, cereal and porridge
Lunches will be Carrot Soup (carrots still on offer), wraps, sandwiches and leftovers plus sausage rolls for DD
Snacks will be fruit, dried fruit and nuts and biscuits
am trying to find low fat and milk free desserts so will probably do fruit jelly, frozen fruit and buy some sorbet.
Hope everyone has a good week and look forward to seeing your meal plans.

Morning! Thanks, Tealady, for starting the thread - Saturday morning is here so my mealplan is ready to go

Sat - Pasta Bake with Italian-Style Sausage, Bacon & Tomato Sauce
Sun - Shepherd's Pie
Mon - Chinese-Inspired Ribs & Chips
Tues - Cheese & Bacon Pancake Bake
Weds - Chicken Rogan Josh with Rice
Thurs - Steak Sandwiches with Fajita Mushrooms

Whenever the oven is on I'll make something for the cake or biscuit tin - today its going to be white chocolate cookies and I'll freeze the rest of the dough for another day. I've got some of the carrots on offer, so I'm thinking some spicy carrot cakes will be tomorrow's cakey thing.
Have a lovely week.
