Next Appliances Dodgy Dishwasher

Hi. We bought an integrated dishwasher from Next Appliances (Beko 686) . Had 3 kitchen units moved around for plumbing to work and doors rehung. Not a simple plumbing in job.
From Day 1 there was an acrid burning smell and DW didn't dry dishes at all. Engineer out & confirmed it has a defective circuit board and was dangerous. We have only had it for 10 days!
Next have said they will replace it when they receive the engineer's report but no compensation for the fact we will be without a kitchen for 2 days and a dishwasher for 7 days while they sort it out.
Who has to pay for the plumbing in of the new DW? We have already shelled out once & it's not our fault they supplied a dodgy model. Are we entitled to be compensated for the inconvenience?

im sure you can use a sink to wash dishes, we manage doing it that way
Why will you be without a kitchen for 2 days ?0 -
Next will remove DW one day and deliver a replacement but cannot say when yet and I need to book plumber to take out the defective one and plumb in the new one. 2 base units & appliances need to be removed to plumb it in so can’t get into (v small) kitchen or have access to sink - hence 2 days without kitchen.
I used to wash up in sink and only got this dishwasher because I have advanced Parkinson’s Disease & it's become too difficult for me to do that any more.
Just wanted to know advice on consumer rights in this situation about who pays for the cost of plumbing replacement dishwasher as 1st was broken from day 1 and Next have admitted liability & should they give a goodwill gesture for all the hassle?0 -
Made countless calls and an Engineer's report declaring the new Beko dishwasher faulty eventually arrived (Beko's fault, not Next's). Next Appliances agreed to upgrade the replacement for a much better Siemens model worth £180 more for the inconvenience. We are delighted with the outcome. We ended up paying the plumber but Next arranged a separate drop off and pick up, so the end result was a much better dishwasher and only one extra trip for the plumber - so really great for us. Excellent customer service in the end.0
