Nectar points gone to waste?

I have £425 worth of nectar points sitting in my account, I am completely kicking myself for not buying Amazon vouchers while I still could because there's nowhere to spend them now that interests me. Any suggestions please on what to do with them, is there any way I can turn them into cash? Am I right in saying I can't use them at Sainsburys filling stations? What a waste :-(

You can use them for Sainsburys food shopping so that's your dinner sorted for a little while.0

As said you can use them at Sainsburys I do every xmas. I would never leave that amount of credit to build up though0

? Hardly a waste, use them in Sainsburys for food, clothing or entertainment (not sure why you would keep £425's worth of points better to always cash in in case a scheme ends, this is the same with survey sites).Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
Check out the nectar website for details of the places you can still spend them http://www.nectar.com/spend.points
(It was almost certainly Sainsburys Entertainment that wanted Amazon out as they were only recently added as somewhere you could spend points but they have a tiny fraction of the choice and are nearly always more expensive than Amazon)0 -
You could always buy Amazon gift cards in Sainsbury's and pay using your Nectar rewards.0

Can I ask if you have done this as I would be interested in doing it?
(I know it is not the same but I tried to buy a gift card in Boots with advantage points and they would not do it).0 -

I don't know about Amazon but I have bought House Of fraser and Topshop giftcards, using my nectar points.0 -
I lost/left my card at the till a few years ago and assumed it was at home each time I shopped in Sainsburys. It was only when I rang to get a replacement that I was told the points had been spent. It was £40 worth so I never let mine build up now. I assumed someone had found it either a customer or staff and spent the points immediately. Lesson learnt, spend the points.0

I had £200 on mine and after I lost money on survey sites as they went under I bought myself a new iPod - which effectively was free as I could not bear the thought of losing £200 of 'free' money! No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!
