Maybe the Eon company representative can answer this.
An elderly relative is on Eon's AgeUK Fixed Price July 2013 tariff, at which date does she qualify for the Cold weather payment?
For the current AgeUK tariff, Eon's website says January but looking at last years bill it was paid in May. What is the qualifying date?

Hi wakeupalarm
Sorry for the late reply.
Customers on AgeUK Fixed Price July 2013 will receive their cold weather payments in the spring.
A specific date hasn't been set yet. This will be set when we know the number of days the temperature has dropped below freezing between 1 December and the end of February.
On this tariff, there are extra payments for each day the temperature drops below freezing. :snow_grin
AgeUK Fixed Price July 2013 is, though, no longer available.
Whilst the new AgeUK tariff still has the set Cold Weather Payment, it doesn't have the extra below freezing payment applicable to your relative's tariff.
Customers who switched to the new tariff before 1 January 2013 will receive their payment in January 2013 as advised on our website.
Sorry for any confusion but hope this clears things up. Give me a shout if you need any more info as will be happy to help.
