Last year Rod performed four sold-out nights at London’s Earl’s Court as part of a nationwide UK tour, and also played before a packed Blenheim Palace alongside other arena dates in Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham and Sheffield.

Following the hugely successful ‘Great American Songbook’ series - which has sold over 15 million copies and is the biggest selling ongoing collection of new music recordings in history - ‘Still The Same…Great Rock Classics Of Our Time’, out now on Sony BMG, is his first rock album to hold the Number 1 position since ‘Blondes Have More Fun’ in 1979.

It is also his 35th charting album, his fourth Number 1 album, his sixth Top 10 debut, and his 4th consecutive studio album to enter the Billboard charts within the top 2 positions.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994, he is deservedly recognised as among the best interpretive singers of our time. He has consistently been a presence in the charts since his 1971 release ‘Every Picture Tells a Story’ and the smash hit ‘Maggie May’ – both of which held the Number 1 spot in the U.S. and the U.K. simultaneously, a chart first.
