Could this have been stolen by somebody wanting to do something dogey,or am i worring over nothing. They just told me to sign the second copy and return it.

They've probably just misplaced it. I wouldn't worry about it.
I can't see how anyone can do anything dodgy with a signed credit agreement, unless you had anything important with it, e.g. passport, driving licence, etc.0 -

royal mail are never 100% perfect, if you send it of next time, if you want extra peace of mind id suggest using the recorded delivery service (only 65p extra (i think)) that way you can check online when it gets delivered, or else can you visit a branch of citi bank (if they have on in your town) and hand it into the branch?0
