To mark the special edition DVD release of Things to Come and the screening of this British classic at Sci-Fi London, the UK's leading festival of science fiction and fantasy films (2 – 6 May), we have teamed up with Network and Archos to offer one lucky winner a WiFi Touch Screen Multimedia Player and a copy of the Thing to Come Special Edition DVD.
The Archos 604 WiFi is a sleek device with integrated wireless capabilities and touch screen for surfing the web, accessing web mail, watching videos on the go and exchanging and playing files directly from a network.
Things to Come is based on a book by H.G. Wells, directed by William Cameron Menzies and produced by Alexander Korda. Though it was shot in 1936, it is filled with numerous gadgets and modern innovations that do not look out of place in 2007, which include mobile phones, a plasma screen, an education channel and biological weapons.
Banned by Hitler and Mussolini, this striking film has inspired generations of sci-fi films such as Logan's Run, and legendary filmmakers such as Stanley Kubrick.
Question: Which H.G. Wells film adaptation was out, starring Tom Cruise, in 2005?
Answer: War Of The Worlds
Good Luck
