Unlisted Shares - Dyson

Options
Hi,
Some time ago (2006) I made the rather dubious decision to open a share dealing mini ISA. Part of the portfolio that I chose included a number of shares in Dyson, which subsequently became de-listed from the LSE. The shares got moved to my Nominee account.

My question is, how do I find out what they are worth and how could I sell them if desired? I know they must be worth something, as they still pay a dividend from time to time.

I would like to find alternatives to 'blind trusting' my provider, because .... its a bank. Need I expand?

Any help would be appreciated.

Peter

Your best bet is to ask Dyson.

At the time they delisted, they did talk about arranging for shares to be traded via a matched bargain facility of some sort, only they will know if they did. There's probably contact info on their website.
  • My Email seems to have disappeared down a well, though their website seems more geared to product enquiries.

Yes, there was some contact details there, but thanks for your input.

More details have now been found so hopefully the OP will get it sorted, although from what I read I would not expect that much......?

It seems that in 2010, as promised, Dyson appointed JP Jenkins to provide matched bargain trading, and they became London Matched Markets Exchange.

Looks like the latest traded price of Dyson shares was 7p - though they only seem to trade about once a year!
