housing benefit/self employed

hey folks i just got my new award and it claims i am not entitled to any award.
i've been s/e since jan last year and having been handing in my rough accounts every 3 months to be reviewed.
my rent is 400 pcm and i put down 200 of it towards business usage, i use a 2nd bedroom. i think my accountant will only be putting through 100pcm in my tax returns so can i ask the housing to review it again with that figure? will they back date the period i claimed when i said it was 200, since it is going to be less in my return ? i know that if i put it to the housing as less the differnece will go towards my income, but using entitledto if the housing calculate it at 200pcm i pay rent then i am entitled to nil, if its 300pcm( 100 for business) then i'm entitled to £17 a week. it's not a great amount but it helps till i get the business up and running.
plus my main client for last year, 90% of my work, will no longer be using me so it's back to square 1!

Don't know much off the top of my head about s/e. If it's not right then you must ask them to reconsider it within one month of the decision. If they've used incorrect figures they'll put it right from the date they got it wrong if it's within a month or longer if you have what is known as 'good cause' for the lateness.
I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!

I'd check with your accountant exactly how much he can put down to the business. The balance would then be for your rent. Write back in with that figure, asking for a review of the decision.
