Capital One Cup “ VIP Final Experience & Presenting The Man of the Match Award” competition terms and conditions

1. ELIGIBILITY: This competition is only open to UK residents. To be eligible to win entrants must be over the age of 18.
Employees of Capital One (Europe) plc (“Capital One”, the “Promoter”) and Jam* (“Agent”) and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate families (defined for the purpose of these Terms as husband, wife, mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, or persons residing in the household of such employees), together with any other person involved in the administration of the promotion or anyone subject to a Football Banning Order are not eligible to participate. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Entrants and check their identity.
If any person is determined to have breached these Terms they will be disqualified. In the event that a Winner is disqualified an alternative Winner will be selected.

2. ENTRY: To be eligible to win a prize, Entrants must visit [http://www.facebook.com/capitaloneuk/app_334443379979708] and insert their answer into the free form text entry box. Entrants will then register their first name, last name, email address and telephone number. The Entrant must register their details to be eligible to win the prize (“Entry”, and persons making such Entries, an “Entrant”) One entry per email address.
No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.
Entries that are incomplete will be deemed invalid. No responsibility will be accepted for Entries lost, delayed or damaged in transmission.
Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms of service when they enter this competition.
The Promoter reserves the right to exclude or remove from the competition any entry that does not meet criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter also reserves the right to exclude or remove any entry that is incomplete.

3. TIMING: The competition will run from 5/2/13 and close on the 17/2/13. No entries received outside the Competition Period will be eligible to win the Prize. The winners will be contacted by email or telephone within 48 hours after the closing date. In the event that the Winner does not respond within 24 hours, unfortunately the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and an alternative Winner will be selected.

4. SELECTION OF WINNER: The Agent will use a Prize Draw mechanic to select 30 entries for each club. The answers provided in the entries selected will be judged by a panel made up of representatives from the Promoter and The Football League in order to allocate the two main prizes and the remaining 10 pairs of hospitality tickets. The Football Club’s (Bradford City & Swansea City) may also review the names of the allocated prize winners. The decision of the panel is final and no further communication will be entered into.

5. PRIZE: “ VIP Final Experience & Presenting The Man of the Match Award” Taking place at Wembley Stadium, Wembley, London HA9 0WS on 24 February 2013.
The main prize package will be won by two Winners (one Swansea City fan and one Bradford City fan), who may invite one guest each. Each package includes:
• Watch a football legend Q&A session hosted by Sky or BBC pundit
• Wembley pitch-side experience, including individual photograph with club legends and opportunity to have photograph taken with the Capital One Cup
• Full hospitality in the Wembley Suite
• Capital One Cup goody bag
• 2 seats in the Wembley Stadium Royal Box
• £500 spending money
• Accommodation in a Hotel at Wembley on Saturday 23rd February 2013
• Transportation to and from the Hotel

In addition to the main prize package, the Winner who is the fan of the team for whom the Man of the Match plays will present the Alan Hardaker Man of the Match trophy to the player.

Ten runners-up (five Swansea City fans and five Bradford City fans) will win a pair of hospitality tickets that include:
• Watch a football legend Q&A session hosted by Sky or BBC pundit
• Wembley pitch-side experience, including individual photograph with club legends and opportunity to have photograph taken with the Capital One Cup
• Full hospitality in the Great Hall
• Capital One Cup goody bag
• 2 seats in Club Wembley seating

Prize will be fulfilled on 24th February 2013

6. USE OF DATA: As the data controllers, the Agent takes your privacy seriously. Your personal information will be securely stored by the Agent, and will only be used for the operation of this promotion and supplied to The Football League before being shared (encrypted) with the Football League’s agent, Kempster, in order for them to make contact with the Winners and runners-up via email (in which the recipient must respond to the email within 24 hours in order to confirm receipt of the prize, in accordance with clause 3 above) and in order for Kempster to distribute the prizes.
In accepting these Terms and Conditions the Entrant agrees to the use of their full name by the Agent in all Facebook properties, including status updates and the list of winners on the competition tab.

The Entrant accepts that the Promoter may use video coverage and photographic images taken of them during the fulfilment of the prize for marketing or promotional purposes. The winning Entrant may have their full name displayed in the competition tab, in the form of a winner gallery. The Entrants personal information will be deleted after 12 months.

7. FOOTBALL LEAGUE: By entering this competition, you agree, should you win, to abide by the The Football League’s Conditions of Ticket Sale (available at https://www.football-league.co.uk/ticketconditions) and Wembley National Stadium Limited’s Stadium Ground Regulations (as displayed at the Stadium and available at https://www.wembleystadium.com).

8. OTHER: This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook .
If any provision or part of these Terms is deemed void or otherwise unenforceable in law then that provision or part shall be deemed excluded and the remainder of these Terms shall remain in force.
These Terms, the conduct of this Competition and the interpretation and enforcement of these terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, unless you are a Scottish resident, in which case you may choose the law of your own country of residence. Entrants irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales, unless they are a Scottish resident or a resident of Northern Ireland, in which case they may choose the courts of their place of residence.
The Promoter cannot guarantee the performance of any third party and shall not be liable for any act or default by a third party. Entrants agree that the promoter will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, costs, damage or disappointment of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse or use of the Prize. Nothing in this paragraph shall limit the Promoters liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or arising out of fraud.
