Still not well, this is not good
I took a half day today and have pretty much had my feet up since 3pm but still feel rotten. A couple of people have mentioned trip to docs and Antibiotics, will see how I feel tomorrow.
Bed now - am sure once I throw this off I will get motivated again. In the mean time at least I am spending nothing :rotfl:
Day off tomorrow with DD and we're hopefully meeting at a friends house.0 -
I got drugs, the lovely doctor gave me antibiotics :j I couldn't sleep last night for the pain in my throat or ears so phoned in desperation this morning. Its the first time I've been to the docs in six years for something not related to pregnancy or my children so I think he knew I am really ill.
That said I'm still very rough. I saw some friends today and felt a bit miserable, think I managed to smile through it though. Been to L*dl as we'd run out of nappies and did a quick whiz round but couldn't face A*da afterwards like I normally do. Back on track with the money saving by Saturday hopefully...that said I've not spent anything this week apart from £7.65 for a prescription.
Bed soon, I think let the Anti Bs do their jobBack to work tomorrow.

Okey doke am back. Its been lurgy central in this house for two weeks, with ill children all the way through half term, but we do seem to be getting better now
Looking at my goals for the month. I've made £50.41 so far. I have eight items listed on eBay now with a few people watching and one item got a bid of £2 on its first day, so by Thursday I may have made some more money. Not quite the £150 I was hoping for, but I'll do some more eBaying next weekend, plus have some silver to sell, if I can find somewhere to take it.
Snowed in today so NSD :j Nap with DD at lunchtime for 2.5 hours - unheard of normally! Spent afternoon making quiche lorraine to take a birthday party tomorrow, also having a toy clear out in the living room. Unfortunately no toys to eBay yet as DS wants to give everything to DD, but it is much tidier with a plan for IKEA storage unit once hols are saved for.
Menu planning and cooking seems back on track now too. Not sure if I'll lose the 2-4lb planned by end of month, but once I've been to birthday party buffet tomorrow, I'll do some sensible menu planning for next week. And I feel well enough for a run on Monday or Tuesday (during the working day), plus the nights are starting to lighten up so not long until I can run once the kiddies are in bed :j0 -
I should have also reported that I had quite a spendy weekend last weekend as I ran over my handbag with a can of diet coke in it - costly mishap
but I did get a gorgeous bag from TK Max for £29.99 which was a real treat for me
I've been to the cinema twice this last week, once with my sister using a gift card that still has £23 on it and once with DS for Kids Club which was only £4. Other than that we had a McDonalds and I paid for DS to get a haircut, so bearing in mind it was half term we've had a very cheap week. I have National Trust membership and live five mins from a nice property, but none of us felt up to it - we're going to stay in some Yurts there over Easter so we'll do all the outdoors things then!0 -
So here I am in March. It kind of bypassed me that Feb had gone until today and a few deadlines hit me in the face at work today, long today ahead tomorrow.
So my goals for Feb:
Make £150 - I made £78
Save £600 towards holiday - yep done.
Run 5k three times per week. Bit unrealistic, although I managed this twice last week
Lose 2-4lb - carried forward to next month.
I did manage to eBay some items, they're parcelled up ready to post tomorrow. Next stage of decluttering: books, clothes, and finally paperwork.
Once this is done, I need to look at some storage solutions for essential paperwork and will sell my desk on eBay as I want the space for a second hand piano. Found out in 2011 that my great grandfather was a reasonably famous music composer and a bit of a git who fathered my grandmother and then both her parents dumped her. So I figure that's why I can play the piano without reading music, but never really got the chance to learn so I don't want my children to miss out. Plus I get the chance to play :j
Budget is set for this month too0
