I went today with a load of vouchers i had obtained in a pull out in a newspaper and had loads of grief at a local burger king store .
First of all they changed the terms and conditions on the free coffee vouchers , apparently you need to buy something first to get the free coffee , when i pointed out that we had both spent £2 each with two vouchers each (one for me , one for my partner) , this did not count apparently.
Anyone else had this annoying rubbish from the staff ? I know it is not their fault and they just follow orders from head office .
But why give free coffee vouchers away if you have no intention of honouring them?:(

I find with these sort of staff it depends what mood they are in. If they're in a bad mood they change the rules! I doubt it's come down from head office as bigger companies like BK tend to abide by their offers! You just got a prat serving youThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Agreed, I alway look for flirting teenagers if I'm unsure of how its going to go voucher/offer wise. They're generally in a good mood and couldn't care less.0 -
i have used loads of the coffee vouchers and not had a problem, although the coffee isnt the best its very poor0

The staff on that day said that instructions from head office only came on 5th feb.
unlucky for me - and i agree the coffee is pretty poor - I surpose I have not missed out on much LOL:rotfl:0 -
Burger King are franchised I believe so what one store will be happy with another could be quite awkward about. I believe a lot of their offers don't apply to Motorway Outlets either.
Send an email to their website, you'll probably be sent a meal voucher anyway0 -
I would have thought that if it doesn't state it on the voucher that you had to purchase anything before using it then they can't just change the rules as they see fit! I would have kicked up a fuss...0

Tried complaining via their complaints email re the awful "service" and appalling attitude of staff at their Burton on Trent branch but never heard another peep out of them-haven't bothered to go into another BK since then, there's always somewhere else !0 -
