Stafford hospital

Options
Well, what's everyone making of the news about this hospital? Is the NHS now a different beast than it used to be? (Yes, IMHO).

I've been in a few Trusts across my career and I KNOW the issues that are being talked about today are nothing new, and not confined to Stafford, and there will be a few suited managers shifting uncomfortably in their leather office chairs.

Best wishes to all the honest, hardworking, diligent NHS staff in that Trust, and others. And God bless the whistleblowers.

there needs to be more staff based on wards rather than specialist nurses office based and business managers. the whole NHS needs revamping and get rid of all these private independant companys working within the NHS. i know of one where it is clearly giving a few backhanders to business managers within the same hospital. conflict of interests springs to mind.
    Just about to give up!
