Paypal .. Anyone else had issues with them?
I have less than a year to go on my IVA and have had my current case officer for about six months and to be honest find her very poor in comparison to my others.
I had an alteration made last September and asked for a copy of what was agreed I have still not got it despite numerous emails. I have also asked her to please email with queries as I can never get hold of her due to my hours of work and being able to make calls. This has never been a problem with other case officers. . I have asked two questions in the last fortnight about arrears which I have not got e.g. I have phone/ voicemail call today about this months payment but it is not due till 14th. Instead al I get is please call me on tel number xxxx to discuss.
I hear such good things about paypal and up to now they have been ok. I'm just wondering if other people have had problems with them?

Sorry but I am no fan of this bunch-I was on a DMP with them and after research on here, and other issues arising ( such as nasty unrelenting creditors) realised a DMP was not the solution. I didn't go to them for an IVA even though they were very persistent about me doing so- in theory they ought to work -their website is good, they are in good standing with creditors but if you try and speak to them about anything that's mildly difficult ( and I won't extend any sarcasm to what constitutes that word) they were lost.
Anyway, as this is an open forum and a free country etc my take is that their website is very good, their systems are good, but the staff are very random.
They obviously have a number of cases on the go at any one time but there is no real attention to detail I felt, they just want people off the phone quickly if you do call with a question.
Hopefully someone will come along and give more positive advice though about what you can actually do in this situation, I really don't know apart from probably writing and letting them know you'll take it further.now debt free and determined to maintain good spending habits and build savings0 -
You could consider putting a compliant into PayPlan explaining the problems you are having and ask them to change your case handler?0
