Whilst it may be funded, the training provider may have charged the employer a fee or they could have a penalty clause for non completion (as opposed to failure).

    This.
One of my staff recently signed up for a government funded NVQ and the I had to sign an agreement with the training provider that there would be financial penalties for non-completion / not providing the correct support. I don't remember the sums involved but I seem to remember hundreds rather than thousands. As the contract was with the company rather than with the individual, if you haven't signed anything I can't see it being that enforceeable.
I would advise contacting the training agency directly (your assessor can advise who the best person to speak to is) to clarify if something like this applies to you.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • I am doing a NVQ in my workplace given by a training company, but I got a job in the same setting, I would like know if it is possible continue my nvq

Best to start your own thread but...in principle, yes an NVQ is not attached to your employer, it is your work. However, the new job would need to demonstrate that you can complete the portfolio of evidence for the NVQ. Whether there are penalties for leaving your current setting etc is another conversation to have with your current employer/training provider.
