Saverpoint / Softpoint Multimedia - order refunds??

A few days ago I ordered an item from Saverpoint (.com). It was £90 including postage. I paid by credit card. They called me a few days later asking me if I would like to choose an alternative as the item I ordered wasn't in stock. No indication of this when I placed the order. At the very same time they called me they claimed the money from my card company - very odd. They use WorldPay.
They now inform me that they will not send me the refund slip for the transaction (which is wrong - they should). Apparently the refund may take 14 working days!!! They are arrogant beyond belief.
Searching the web it would appear they pull this stunt over and over again. Always people struggle to get their refunds. I can only assume some of them give up and that these funds are what keeps the company going.
Horrible company, no apologies at all, just plain arrogance.

SAVERPOINT 01283 740222 will avoid using the 0843 number!!
