Hi All,
I am after some advise for replacing my broken shower part, which is the temperature control lever.
The part I am after is here:http://hydramax.co.uk/downloads/HM.BIV11.pdf
It is part number 235003 or 235004 (I dont whats the difference between the two).
I have found that it can be purchased directly from the manufacturers or from http://www.showerspares.com/aqualisa_shower_spares/aqualisa_mixer_showers/aqualisa_hydramax_bir_spare_parts/temperature_control_lever_assembly_grey_235003/
If I order the part from one of these, is it a DIY job? what else I would need to complete the job? Things such as rubber gasket/O rings, any seals, any special type of spanner etc.
Thanks for your help
Vik

Shouldnt need any other parts as the part is external of the operating mechanics!
The difference is that on thermostatic shower mechanics controls temperature automatically internally and thermostatically, the other is purely manual as you set it, got a feeling both parts may be exactly the same?
It could be that the internal mechanics could be scaled up, a common problem, which means the temperature isnt controlled correctly and the lever may be stiff to operate, in which case it may need a plumber to descale or parts replaced dependent on condition?Signature removed0
