I've only just seen this thread. You must do your own research to establish if the company is kosher!
I have seen about a company called Cult Wines, who do not cold call.It was started by a young entrepeneur who was on Dragons Den or something similar. They appear credible and have been quite successful so far.Obviously examine the risks fully before investing. Not for widows and orphans!0 -
If you google cult wines, you get some interesting results:
Sending out unwanted invoices for thousands of pounds.

Looks like they don't like being asked questions here:

Sounds like a great company to invest in :eek:0 -
I did see the negative items but, if I remember correctly, the invoices turned out to have nothing to do with Cult WinesI did look quite extensively. The two items you quote smacked to me of someone with a barely hidden agenda. I think Cult Wines have rocked the rather cosy elitist image of wine investment.0

How extensively? The link provided points out both the dodgy invoice and the letter Cult Wines sent out denying it was from them used the same franking machine. Sounds pretty convincing to me.cornishphil wrote: »I did see the negative items but, if I remember correctly, the invoices turned out to have nothing to do with Cult WinesI did look quite extensively.
They don't come across that way to me, whereas your post does. The two items you quote smacked to me of someone with a barely hidden agenda. I think Cult Wines have rocked the rather cosy elitist image of wine investment.0 -
I just had Alternitive Solutions ring me back to see if I wanted to go ahead with investment.I declined, but had to say the guy was polite and understanding. You just have to filter out peoples advice [e,g 'Cornishphil']and wonder if it is for their own agenda.0
