New Email

Hi, Im looking to get a new emaill address. Ive currently got a few gmail accounts but they all get spam now and theres loads of things ive signed up for them. So im looking for a new place to sign up. Primarily it because ill be on the lookout for a job and want something that looks 'professional' if thats the right word. But then if the provider is decent ill most likely look to use it as my main corespondence email ie. freinds, family and work.

Any reccommendation? Cheers

you could try Office Live basics

You will get to pick your own .co.uk domain name so emails would be teddyrux@whatever.co.uk

You will be asked for credit card details during sign up but no money is taken

I'm guessing thats pretty much hotmail. Never been that impressed with them tbh.

It has an interface more like outlook than the old hotmail. I have been using it for a while now and had no problems

Have a look here for a large selection of webmail providers

Ive decided i might as well just get my own legit domain. If i get a domain thats my name for example joebloggs.com any ideas for the naming of my email looks weird if you go for joebloggs@joebloggs.com or even joe@joebloggs.com and using 'contact' or 'mail' looks a bit too up yourself. Any ideas please, help me :)

They don't expire, you can have 25 (2Gb) mail addresses each with the free co.uk domain you choose. click here for whats included. I have no idea about the junk filter, I haven't needed it

If you have an unusual surname you could have joe@bloggs.co.uk
