I am interested in opening a santander 123 current account, only i dont have a regular income so will struggle getting 500 p/m into the account. However, i do have a large amount in my account. Is there anyway of getting around the 500 input into the account? Thanks

Float it around your other accounts and transfer it back.0 -

Nope! Minimum funding of £500 must come from a 'non-Santander account'!0 -
Thanks for your help. Sorry further question, does the £500 have to be put in as a lump sum of can it be here and there throughout the month? Also, can the amount then be put in by other current account say from another branch?0

Any number of deposits, as long as they add up to £500 within your statement period (which is unlikely to co-incide with the calendar month)steph.w.89 wrote: »does the £500 have to be put in as a lump sum of can it be here and there throughout the month?
But why faff about with multiple payments if you have the money? Transfer it out of Santander to another bank, then back from other bank and you are done with.steph.w.89 wrote: »Also, can the amount then be put in by other current account say from another branch?bengal-stripe wrote: »Nope!
