switching site more expensive
Ever switching site I have looked at appears to offer a good deal - x amount off, until you look at the annual costs, and then they're often more expensive than my annual projected costs from my energy provider (edf)
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

Many people enter the £'s per month that they are paying and the figure you should use for an accurate result is annual kWh. You should use the same kWh figures that EDF have used in their own forecast on your energy statement.
The annual amount displayed on the comparison site should then be the same as the EDF forecast.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Is that the annual kWh from the forecast? What are the figures you have been using and what does EDF's forecast come to in £ what EDF tariff are you on and what region do you live in. If I'm still on when you post it I'll double check it....or someone else will.
Yes, its the annual kwh from the annual statement
EDF annual forecast £1646.27
Currently on Standard (variable) E7 i cant find a region given on the bill, but we live in Milton KeynesPlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

How do the anticipated annual costs from EDF compare to that which the comparison sites suggest your current tariff will cost you?
I can guarantee you can get a better deal than EDF standard tariff.
What are the annual kWh figures you are using?0
