2 Cats need re-homing

Hi
We know someone who needs to rehome 2 Cats that are 3 years old. Do you know where the best place to advertise would be. One is Tabby and the other is White (I haven't seen them, so don't have much details at present). They are in the Berkshire area if that helps.
I would take them myself but my cat is 21 years old, so I don't want to give him a heart attack with two new arrivals, as he is very frail and has always been the only cat, bless him.
Reason for re-homing is that owner now lives in Austrailia and the couple who took over looking after them are moving out of the property.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
D

Can't they take the cats with them? Most people don't leave their pets behind when they move!
If they definitely want rid of the cats, then finding spaces at a reputable rescue would be best.0 -

I agree totally, but I am only the messenger in this situation.
Will tell them to look at rescues and Pet Forums.

i took in a cat from a friend (he didn't get on with their dog) and i already had a elderly cat who was 22yo, and blind. The only problem i had was the new arrival was 7mths old so would try to play with her, but she gave him short shrift and would stand up for herself!Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!
