help with finding links please

I have a product that I want to do a pilot run, do a prototype to send to companies to get feed back, and to see if there is any interest etc for so they can retail the product.

It would be packed something similar to this. ( this is one packaging idea, and would prob be the cheapest)

but rather than buy this, I was wondering if anyone has a link to a free template I could use..for the header.

would appreciate any good links

I'm a bit confused, because when I want a particular template, I create it myself by trial and error?

Also the microsoft website does have lots of templates - anything useful there?

Maybe start with that blank page, and a ruler. Make sure your package is set to work in whichever of inches or cm you're happiest with. Draw up what you want, where you want it etc, then transfer that to the computer screen. If you've got your rulers showing it shouldn't be TOO hard ...

Do a mock-up with pencil, ruler, cardboard etc in the real, old-fashioned physical realm. It will help you work out what it is you *really* want or need, work out alignments, etc.

Then go to somewhere like people per hour, or maybe even fiverr and get someone in a developing nation to turn your vision into a formal template for printing (with all the bleeds, crops, etc., if you're going to do a professional job). You keep creative control, someone else does the 'tricky bits' to reproduce your design. Cost is cheap, everyone wins.
  • thanks...

didn't think of doing it like that.. I am so blinkered:rotfl:

There's free word templates for bag toppers linked from that product
(They're meant for printing onto their sheets & US sizes so will need tweaking)
