Perhaps if you have no luck when you go to see them you should stand outside and tell other people before they enter.0

The 15 days you mentioned, is this part of the visa cover in that goods must be supplied within 15 days of payment? Again...is there anything on the web that states this?
I really am grateful for your post, it's a big help. Thank you :T
No idea if there are any links on the Visa site.
You do not need this.
Just call the bank tell them you want to dispute a payment for non reciept.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
Just a quick update on this and any advice would be welcomed.
I wrote a letter for my niece and we sent it to RBS bank on 11th Feb. The letter clearly outlined the situation and detailed the selling practices used. It explained how my niece had tried to cancel the order but the company refused to let her. It also went on to explain that regardless of all of this more than 15 working days had passed since payment was debited and the goods had still not been received.
Today she received a written response from RBS.
They have said that they cannot help her as she made the choice to cancel the order and therefore they cannot intervene. This is the only reason they have given. They have made no mention of the fact that she hasn’t received the goods. She hasn’t even cancelled the order as the company wouldn’t let her. This was clearly stated in the letter to RBS.
It seems as if RBS have not even bothered to read the letter thoroughly?
It’s now been more than 30 days since payment was debited and there is still no contact from the company involved and no sign of the goods. Surely the Visa protection against non-receipt of goods comes into force and should have after 15 days?
I’m going to the branch with her today but don’t expect much in the way of support from them.
I know some of you have commented on here that you're covered if you don't receive goods within 15 days. I cannot find anything that states this though? Does anyone have a link to this statement?
Any thoughts?0 -
I believe some companies have been known to lock their victim in the building. It is always a good idea to ring 999 in these circumstances or feign a cardiac arrest !
This happened to my daughters, they got handed a card when out shopping to book and appointment and have their hair and make-up done and 1 free picture with the option to purchase more if wanted.
They booked and turned up at the studio the hair and make-up was done in ten mins then all staff left apart for 3 men. They locked the door then took the pictures. They then tried bullying then into parting with £1000 each for a disc and album, one of them text my husband telling him they were scared and the guys wouldnt let them leave.
My husband and his brother shot down there and to bang on the door for about 5mins before it was opened and he found our 3 girls in tears. Well by the time he had finished with them they were handed the free picture plus the disc. I put a complaint in to the owner but they just don't care. I was'nt after any comp i just want them to stop harassing young girls and change there practice of locking customers in.0
