Sold house prices - no pictures?

Does anyone know why some of the sold house price listings on Rightmove or Zoopla do not have the house pictures, even though it has been advertise through those sites and has been sold? Majority of listings will have sale price and the pics, floor plan etc but some of them don't...... Thanks!

  • I've often wondered that too :o The houses we sold in 2007 & 2011 both have the historic pics & floorplans available on RM, yet the one we bought in 2011 doesn't and nor do our closest neighbours' houses (both bought in 2010)......none of these were auctioned or repossessions btw.....

  • Im glad Im not the only one:o We sold our flat couple of months ago and it was listed both on RM and Zoopla. It showed the pics our agent used for the sale advert in the sold house price list (with the date when we bought it), people who bought it rented it out straight away and it showed the pics of their rental advert, however, now the land registry released the info about our sale date and suddenly neither rightmove nor zoopla show any pics:think:
  • I think if the EA "archives" the pictures then they no longer display... I think our buyers requested for them to be archived and our EA did so - as soon as the property appeared in the rightmove sold section there were no pictures at all.

We did ask the EA who sold us our current home to archive the listing (due to floor-plans etc) however 6 months later it is still there *rolls eyes*

There is one agent round here who replaces the pictures with an image of their sold sign!
