Has anyone here applied for funds from this scheme, if so...
What was the process?
Did you come across any hurdles?
What was it for, how much did it cost?
Was it successful, in that did you get funds for what you asked for, if not, what reason did the JCP give?

Suppose most people would never even know it exists!0

Give us a clue. Is it a fund to help you subscribe to SKY tv?0
-
What are you wanting to apply for? Yes I have experience but what exactly is the question so I can try to help.0

Just wanted to know the processes, can be any hurdle to taking employment, thats so long as it does not fall under the remit of another benefit.
I just was going to ask for footwear and bit that I need.
Since I don't know the limits I don't know if I am being unrealistic or not pushing for more!
Since I won't qualify for a back to work payment I thought it made sense to ask.
I won't be subscribing to sky tv, though if some one needed broadband internet at home to take a job or a mobile phone then I can't see why sky services would not come under something that could receive funding.0 -

OP, perhaps you did not get any replies because your question came across as rather nosey!
Well it covers the travel to interview scheme also, all these little funds(well in the millions) have been put in one pot.
Yes the part i'm asking on is the ADF.
I'm not so much being nosey, just wondering what passes and what does not.0 -
If footwear is safety the employer is required to provide it. You really need to ask your adviser cause there are other factors to consider.0

Well yes, footwear being PPE the employer should provide... how many job adverts do you see though that say "must have safety boots" etc.
Still it seems to be a very good system otherwise, lots mock the JCP, but I can say that I have had a positive experience on the whole.
They have the means to give lots of help, the annoying thing is though that really only help if you can find a job, then the barriers can be overcome.
Lots of it does need the 26 weeks to pass which is a bit silly since i'm sure loads would appriciate the help from day one, which the flexible support fund can be used for.0
