no your not in credit as you pre-pay, it will be an estimated bill.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

As you prepay, just stop loading the meter until it says you have no more credit left

Hi oliver15
We issue statements to prepayment customers to show their usage, the unit rates charged and payments made.
Depending on the timing, accounts can either show a credit or debit balance. There can be a number of reasons for this.
As chanz4 says, one of the most common reasons is where we've used estimated readings on the statement. If this is the case, please let us have an actual reading and we'll re-bill to this to give a more accurate picture.
Also, as Wywth says, check how much credit is still on the meter waiting to be used. You can do this by pressing the button on the front of the meter. The display changes each time you press the button.
The first display shows how much money is still on the meter. When used, this will show on your next statement.
Make sure the prices on the statement match those on the meter. You can see this info on screens 9, 10 and 17. Let us know if they don't.
Has there ever been a debt set on the meter? If there has and it's now been paid, make sure it's not still being collected. You can see this on screen 27 (you'll need to insert the card to see screens 24 onwards).
Talk to us if a cleared debt is still collecting. This is wrong and you'll be due a refund.
Has there been a meter exchange recently? If so, make sure both the removed and installed readings are accurate and not estimates.
With it being a gas meter, check we're billing to the correct number of dials (only the numbers in black). Let us know if we're billing a 4 dial as 5 or vice versa. This is wrong and will need sorting.
Sorry for all the questions but, as I say, there are a number of possibilities here. If still in doubt, talk to our specialist prepayment guys (contact details are on the statement). They have particular access and can see things on the meter/systems that general advisors can't.
Hope this helps.
