    Thanks
Got my DD some nice clothes this morning.
They had loads of gorgeous baby clothes.
  • The boots I ordered on the 5th, were ready for collection yesterday. In Argos you pay upon collection but in ASDA you pay up front. Wonder how long ASDA keep things. Will try to persuade my OH to collect them for me tomorrow late PM. :)

It will state in your email what date to collect your items by.

    Thanks s_t. :)

I paid with my debit card. Can my OH pick up my boots without it? I'll give her my order number. Hopefully that should satisfy ASDA. :p:cool:

I went to the Southport store to try and buy the leather biker style full length boots, but sadly the size 4 were too big and they didn't have a size 3. They cost £20 in store.

It is a really good sale, but I reined myself in, and just bought 1 top for £3.

I've never been asked for my debit card when picking up stuff from my local asda. They've just asked me for my order number (if anything) and my surname!

Having said that, the text messages they send me for collection do state to bring the payment card.

Maybe my local store can't be bothered to check lol.

But i'd think if your oH does have the order number and your surname, you should be alright.
  • Will let you know tomorrow evening or on Saturday, if she's successfull, s_t.
Saves me the trip and she's passing that ASDA anyway upon returning from a trip up north. :)
  • The Asda store I go to (Inverness), I picked up the boots I ordered around lunch-time & the guy who served me, asked for the card that was used, just to check the last 4 numbers

Whenever I collect items from store whether it's from ASDA or Wilko's (ordered quite a lot recently) they never ask for ID or the payment card. It is different stores and SA's so I am not known for ordering so can't understand why they don't do proper checks before handing the items over.
