I recently had to return my 3wk old TomTom as it suddenly developed a fault (wouldn't turn off and no touch control) they changed for a new one... what I want to know is do I have to uninstall the TomTom home I have installed on my computer and reinstall it with the new TomTom connected to the computer? and also I had backed up the data on the broken TomTom on my computer , now can I just load all that data onto the new one ........ I know it sounds like a silly question but I have no idea what to do....I don't want to mess it up as OH is relying on me being the one who 'knows' how to do all the techie stuff :rotfl: thats really funny.........:D

We have 3 seperate TomToms in our house & all use the same software & the backup will be fine, you may just have to get a new activation code for the maps0
