Reliable Combi boiler...or ones to avoid

Never any guarantees as to reliability with any boiler or system?
When she does rent it should also be remembered she will need an annual Gas Safety Inspection Certificate!Signature removed0 -
Hmmm, that's not very encouraging!
Yes, she has a long list of things that need to be sorted before she can put it on the rental market, the boiler being the biggest problem. The Gas Certificate is on the list.0 -

I would not touch a Vokera, because we had one six years ago, and it was trouble from the start - losing pressure, problems with the expansion vessel, hot rads/no hot water and vice versa, boiler engineers (from Homeserve) did not know how to fix it, or where to get parts from it.
I replaced it with a Worcester Bosch, and touch wood, all we have had to do is keep an eye on the pressure once or twice a year.0
