If you don't comply, then it will cost you a lot more money!
Just send them what they want, and don't allow them an excuse to cancel. (Use recorded delivery)
(They will only ask for more money if their audit turns up any "anomoly"!)0 -

- your up to date MOT details are available to anyone, I can get yours in 10 seconds
- you mileage is usually but not always updated on the MOT
- this info amongst other info is available to anyone with your vehicle registration number
- your insurer will have that registration numberDisclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Why would the insurer be requesting the MOT and mileage from the OP ?
I presume its to check something against the records held by the insurer ?

To check the customer's stated annual mileage is correct.0

You need more than the VRM to obtain the MOT information.
You need the VRM plus the last MOT Test Number, or the VRM plus the Doc No. from the V5C;-

If you've been honest with them then it shouldn't cost you any more. If you've gone over your mileage get on the phone and change it now. Should only cost a little bit to change - mine was only £20 for an extra 5,000 miles.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0
