Does anyone know how to copy a recorded programme on Sky+ onto a memory stick via the USB port? Or do you have to record it some otherway?
Thanks
Thanks

I believe the USB ports are currently 'locked' - you could use them to charge stuff, but there's no data.
If you want to go Sky+ -> memory stick, without burning a DVD first, you could buy one of these:

Neither of the options I have posted require you to create a DVD and they are cheaper.
The first option just includes a DVD writer, so is the best value.0 -
Interesting, does the DVD writer

work standalone to record from AV source, or does it still need to be connected to a pcAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I have one, but I'm not in the UK at the mo.
to be able to test it.
I used it to record video from my digital camera and convert it to DVD in real time, though it has to be connected to the PC for that, as the PC does the processing.0
