asda money card

I applied for the asda money card on thursday 24th january but the application seem to have problems sending and i didn't get an end screen with any notification or success or failure. I decided to phone the following day to make sure it had gone through. I was told it was being looked at and i would get a letter in the 5-7 days. This didn't sound very promising so i decided to forgot about it!

roll on today 5th feb and in the post ive got a pin for the asda money card it says i should activate the card but as i haven't got it yet that would be difficult. Are sygma like other companies where they can send out pins and then cancel the card ? I didn't think i would be successful but happy at least it looks like i may.

It's a norm to send a PIN and a card separately, and often the PIN gets sent fists.
Just relax and wait for the card to arrive.

Thanks grumbler other than my own bank which knows my income regular balance carried forward savings etc this is the first prime credit card i've applied for hopefully i've gone from sub prime to prime in 18 months which is faster than i thought. I know sygma are easier to get than most others but the asda cashback will be useful.

i phoned asda money card today querying the whereabouts of the card. He said the cc was sent out first and he would have to send me out another one. today was the cut off date to get both pin and card. I just hope the old card doesn't turn up as he put a block on the cc.
  • Creation finance are not prime they are very much sub prime. I have several cards. you can open more and more if you wait a month or two between applications.

    good luck on being accepted.

So you consider 18.9% APR to be a "very much sub prime" rate.

I consider them to fill the gap between prime and sub prime, but no way "very much sub prime".
