I found these 2 ways are cheaper way to travel b/w newcastle and edinburgh.
Via train it is 13.50 each way.
Via mega bus it is 7.50 each way.

if anyone knows cheaper transport, please could you post the information.

Megabus is a lot cheaper than that if you book well in advance. As is the train.

I am travelling from Edi to New (tomorrow evening after 8:00, or early Sat).
coming back from New to Edi (Sun evening after 17:00 hrs).

Thanks. next time I will plan in Advance.

However, is there any Network card we can use in trains b/w Edi & Newcastle. I travel once a month b/w these destinations and something like network card would be useful.

I know there is a network card in South West trains, but haven't heard any in GNER trains.

booked over the GNER website it's £12 on trains after 19:49 tomorrow & £12.50 on the 17:50 from Edinburgh.

If you'd booked earlier it would have been £8.45 each way

The 'network' card in that area would be a young person's or senior railcard if you are young/old enough to be eligible

I was thinking more of a late train say 11pm maybe even 11:30pm.

If you were to look it up in the online timetable (really really simple) - no way is there a train that late.
