0078502 number

Hi everyone I keep get this number: 0078052 calling my home phone every day.
Does anybody know who this number belongs to and how I can stop it, I'm with Talk Talk.
Many thanks.

Unplug your phone? The number is probably false, being generated by a PABX that is sending forward an incorrect CLI. If automated, answering the call will at least assist in finding out Who is calling, and take you out of the redial queue.

As it's only 7 digits long and starts with 00, it's obviously not a real number. It'll more than likely be a scammer using a hoax CLI to avoid his call being blocked by an anonymous call reject setting.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
