I just had my first delivery from an Ebay supplier who used Hermes. Based on all the bad reports I had seen I was dreading it. But it was a despatch Thursday from deepest Scotland, delivery Tuesday to rural Herefordshire via the local Courier who was very good. Just 3 working days for a 5 working day service.

Credit where credit's due. I hope it's the same next time.

I've used them 3 times as a seller. I drop my stuff at a parcel shop and it has always arrived quickly. I bought something via them once and it arrived fine as well.

I think they need a better system to weed out the bad drivers.

This worries me as I have just send a few things off with them to trial them. With Royal Mail prices sky rocketing I am keen to find a cheaper alternative. Can anyone recommend anyone else?

Ordered some items from BHS to be delivered by Hermes. Just tried tracking online to find that I'm supposed to have signed for them YESTERDAY!

I've emailed all concerned but probably won't get reply until Monday so I'll just be worrying until then. How on earth can they state 'customer signed' when I haven't.

Easy. A few years back, DHL showed an item as signed for personally my me when it was the wrong address they had "delivered" to and I was over 200 miles away.......... Courier actually stole the parcel on further investigation. Hope yours turns up though!!
