MR really do deserve a pat on the back.
I bought a fancy coffee machine last year from Comet. One of the hotplates stopped working suddenly and, as I couldn't find my receipt, Comet weren't interested (not convinced they would've been interested even if I did have it).
So, I rang MR gave them the serial number / product code and started to explain - before I could finish I was asked for my post code and they offered to ship a new one FOC!

It came at the weekend and I'm delighted - their customer service department rang me a couple of days after my call and I told them that too! :T

    Glad to see you got a good result. Shame on Comet although I have had problems beofre with them. Certainly think about MR next time I want an appliance.
