I downloaded windows live messenger for my 10 year olds, every time we start the computer the log on window appears, I have been into start up and unticked the box to stop it doing this, but if you do log into WLM. it seems to reactivate the logon window at startup, is there a way to stop this and use a short cut when they want to use it?

yes from msn live messenger click on tools then options and untick show msn news thingy and also untick start up when log on to windows.
oh and for a shortcut just go to start all programs then right click messenger then left click on send to desktop (create shortcut)0
